Hello I am Tane Muller here is some more about me!

About Me!

My Work:

I grew up surrounded by very hard workers where the best way to gain respect was through work and I adopted that mentality at a very young age. I started working in environmental Conservation when I was 16. This is where I learned what 8 hours of manual labor can do for the soul; a good days work and, that the job is never actually done. This work ethic continued to form when I was at Vancouver School of Arts and Academics (VSAA). There the fundamentals of theatrical tech and what actually went into putting a show up; I was fascinated.

That lead me Ithaca College where I majored Theatre Production and Design Concentration in Technology, and a focus in Technical Direction. During my time at IC I did two Summer Stock Programs: I was the Production Apprentice for Theatre Aspen in Aspen Colorado for their 2019 Summer Season. That was a 4 show Rep of Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, God of Carnage, and The Children’s Production of The Wizard of OZ. My Second summer stock I worked as a Stagehand for The Sun Valley Pavilion the summer of 2021.

At IC my credits include Ragtime Scenic Carpenter/Fly Operator F2018, Violet Electrician/Spot Operator S2019, Sister Act Master Carpenter/Deck Carp. F2019, Pippin Master Electrician S2020, Paper Project of Sweeney Todd Assistant Technical Director F2020, Head Over Heals Assistant Technical Director S2021, Rent Technical Director F2021, One Acts Play Festival Technical Director S2022.

After Graduation I was the Stage Supervisor/Technical Director For Williamson Theatre Festival summer 2022. I then moved to NYC where I worked on The New Groups Production of Evanston Salt Costs Climbing Head carp, and at Kadan Productions as a onsite carpenter and Shop Carpenter for various shows and productions. Later I worked with Tinc Productions to put up Mind Mangler Production Carp, then moved to 2nd Stage to put up The Apiary Production Carp.

What I do For Fun

  • Happiness: By-Tane Muller
It’s beautiful how age brings a sense of clarity
    A clearer vision of the
    Pictures that once where moments
That now memories dance in our minds as we
Scroll years down our photo albums.

Knowing that my little life is a sparkle that means little
    To others
    But it’s my world
    So therefore
It means the world to me.

I will dance a poetic symphony around the poetic line
Learning to define joy the way I did pain when I was young

    Looking back at the smiles
To play their movie in my head
    Happiness is
    being out in the cold
Laughing at how your teeth sound when they chatter
It’s quite moments shared with another
Floating around with out obligation or discomfort

What I’m coming to understand is
    For me
    Happiness lies slightly underneath
    The discomfort
I have to become aware of
    The little bits of joy

    Look past the suffering
To find the joy in its picture with age

  • I grew up in Colorado originally my Mom and Dad met as ski instructors in Breckenridge Colorado. My Dad continued his career at Breck as a Ski Instructor for 43 years. So mountain fun is deep within my blood!

  • There is something very special to me about getting lost on a road trip. When time and location become interconnected I truly feel at home.

  • Being a mountain boy it can almost go without saying but get me out in the woods and I am a happy camper.
